​take the South out of the girl.

Although I’ve called Alberta home for over 30 years, my roots remain firmly planted among the pines and pecan trees of my southern beginnings.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Texas, I am now a proud Canadian citizen, happily settled in the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta.

For as long as I can remember, creating has been a part of who I am. I was fortunate to have the encouragement of friends, family, and some truly inspiring art instructors throughout school and beyond. After studying commercial art at the Art Institute of Houston, I worked for many years as a graphic designer before focusing more fully on fine art.

As a fine artist, I work primarily in charcoal and pastel—mediums I love for their softness, versatility, and tactile nature, which allow me to be fully immersed in the creative process.

As an interior designer and decorator, I approach every space as a still life—an opportunity to compose something both beautiful and functional. My goal is always to create practical, comfortable, and livable rooms that evoke calm and harmony through balance, color, and texture.

I truly believe that the ability to create—to draw, paint, design, or render with skill—is a gift. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has placed their trust in me over the years and allowed me to share that gift through my work.
